KCP Apunba appoints Paikhomba as COC

Imphal, May 29 2024: The advisory committee of KCP Apunba has unanimously appointed Paikhomba alias Father as the new chief of commander (COC) of the outfit.

Speaking to the media at a particular location in Tengnoupal, City Meitei, COC of KCP Apunba, said that he will now work as deputy commander of the outfit as approved by the advisory committee of the outfit.

Saying that three important meetings of the outfit were held from May 23 to May 25 and took some resolution after discussing the unfolding situation in Manipur, he added that the outfit members observed silence for five minutes during the meetings as a token of respect to all who died fighting for the cause of Manipur.

The resolution to appoint Paikhomba as the COC of the outfit was also taken during the meetings, he added.
