Moreh, November 27 2012: The newly constructed Social Welfare office inside Moreh ADC complex was inaugurated today by Social Welfare Minister Ak Mirabai.

The inaugural function was attended by MLA of Tengnoupal AC, D Korungthang; Chairman of Chandel ADC, Lhukhosei Zou and Commissioner of Social Welfare, Letkhogin Haokip as the president and guests of honour respectively.

Director of Social Welfare, G Seityabati, leaders of various communities residing in Moreh such as MCM, HTC, KSO, ACODOM, Tamil Sangam, MMCM, Gorkha Samaj Samiti, KNANL, NKCLL, MMWDS, MWDA, KWU and HR Moreh have also attended the office inaugural function.

Speaking as the chief guest, AK Mirabai said that in an endeavour to work closely with the people while implementing development schemes, the State Government views all communities of the State equally.

She said various schemes implemented under the Social Welfare department would come to the people of Moreh through the office that was inaugurated today.
