Imphal, July 27 2013 : The Kuki Students' Organisation (Bungpi Area) has today ended its agitation of closing down of schools under ADC Sadar Hills since June 17 on various demands.

Information and publicity secretary of KSO Bungpi Area, Lenin Haokip said the agitation has been lifted following an agreement reached with the concerned authority.

He said the pending salaries of the teachers have been released.

Besides, the authority concerned has also assured to provide adequate teachers and infrastructure to ADC schools.

It was also agreed that no transfer of teachers be made during school session, Lenin said.
