SSUM urges TG school to speed up admission process

Imphal, July 25 2022: Socialist Students' Union of Manipur (SSUM) has urged principal and teachers of TG Higher Secondary School to begin the class by completing its admission process.

In a release, SSUM publicity secretary Inaoyaima Salam recalled that TG Higher Secondary School issued admission notice for Class XI for academic session 2022-23 on July 10 and began admission process by conducting entrance test on July 20 .

While lauding the efforts and commitment of the school principal Dr Vinita Elangbam and teachers of the admission committee to complete the process, the secretary termed as unfortunate that people from certain quarters are undermining sincere efforts of the teachers for the welfare of student community.

Such mischief mongering could be put to rest in case the school authorities complete the admission process and fix a date for commencement of class, he suggested.

While stating that infrastructure of the school is not satisfactory and noting that there are several structural constructions which are yet to be completed, he urged authorities concerned to look into the matter.
