Earlier, MLA Nongthombam Biren sought attention of the Home Minister regarding the incident of lifting away an injured Kuki UG cadre from Kuki Christian Hospital, Deulalane and further demanded clarification from the MLA allegedly involved in the incident.
Quoting media reports, Biren questioned motives of the MLA for his/her involvement in affairs of armed organisations.
Such undue involvement in UG affairs has the potential to project politicians in the wrong light.
The concerned MLA should come out with a clarification about the incident, Biren demanded.
KNF's SS Cpl Thangboi Kipgen (27) of Haibung village was undergoing treatment at Kuki Christian Hospital.
He was taken away from the hospital in the evening of June 20 purportedly for treatment in another hospital.

MLA Karam Shyam too sought attention of the House regarding the demand of transporters for establishment of Highway Protection Force and deployment of adequate security forces on National Highways.
Noting that transporters have been enduring all kinds of harassment on National Highways, Shyam remarked that the transporters demands are justified.
