Ambulance handed over to Community Health Center Kakching

A Basic Life Support Ambulance donated by the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDCL) to the State Government was handed over to CHC Kakching today during a programme held at DC Kakching complex in Kakching.
The programme organised by the District Health Society, Kakching was attended by M Rameshwor, MLA Kakching; Dr K Rajo, Director, Health Services, Manipur; Kengoo Zuringla (IAS), DC Kakching/ Chairman Mission District, District Health Society Kakching and Ksh Manihar, Additional SP Kakching(Oparation); Dr T Manihar, CMO/Mission District, District Health Society Kakching; Nongmaithem Nimai, president Senior Citizen Forum Kakching and Dr Th Ojit, president Representatives Of Lois (ROL) Kakching as presidium members.

Speaking on the occasion, M Rameshwor stated that during the inspection he conducted at the hospital after becoming the MLA of Kakching he found that the hospital was missing many things including an ambulance.
The MLA continued that he has been in talks with the Chief Minister and the department concerned over the issue and the ambulance was provided today for the welfare of the people.
A proposal of Rs 65 crores has also been forwarded under the North East Infrastructure Development Scheme to upgrade Kakching hospital into a Public Private Partnership (PPP), he added.
Mayanglambam Rameshwor further mentioned that a District Hospital would be constructed very soon and urged the people to provide their support in bringing various developmental projects in the district.
