The Anal Naga Students' Union (Anal Lenruwl Tangpi), District H/Q Chandel in a press release strongly asserted their condemnation against the murder of Solouni of Tungjoy village, Senapati district and the racial attack upon north east community.
The release also appealed to all the Indian Political Parties operating in north east region and the social organisations of north east States to voice a day of solidarity protest with the initiatives of the north east State Governments.
That time has come for a collective effort of upholding secularism to thwart the agenda of racial attack against the north east community of the country, it said.
The release further mentioned that the racial attack upon the north east community is an act of uncivilized behavior of the Indian mindset.
Knowing, the Government of India succumbs to local political pressures and seems to encourage the perpetrators for a racial war against the north east community.
Time and again, the happening of atrocities against north east community in Delhi and elsewhere is fully charged action endorsed by Government of India and its agencies.
If the perpetrators and culprits alone have to be blamed, then GOI must prove that such crime is controlled, culprits be arrested and befitting penalty according to the gravity of the crime be given to the accused.
Recently, it continued, a Naga youth belonging to the north east comminuty was attacked and murdered by a group of persons coming in a white car at Kotla Mubarakpur in South Delhi.
If the hate for north east community is lingering in the minds of Indian, then GOI should diplomatically play its role for maintaining good neighbourly relationship.
