Tamenglong, June 24 2021:
The Tousem Area Students' Organisation (TASO), in a statement appealed to the Chief Minister, N Biren Singh to address the plight of Tousem Sub-division.
Tousem Area Students' Organisation stated that despite people celebrating the Good Governance of Manipur and slogan "Go To Hill", the denizens of Tousem still continue to grieve over the lack of proper structures in the Sub-division.

Besides non-functioning of administrative offices in the Sub-Divisional HQs and miserable road condition not even a single police personnel have been executing their duties in the HQs except on National events, no electric linesmen to take care of 11 KV connecting several villages, pathetic mobile network services making it difficult for students to attend online classes during the pandemic, it added.
It also highlighted the lack of medical staff for all the Tousem PHCs.
Tousem Area Students' Organisation further appealed to the Chief Minister to visit Tousem Sub-division and hear the aching voices of the people.
