Atal Tinkering Lab inaugurated at Jiribam

An Atal Tinkering Lab was inaugurated at Jiribam Higher Secondary School today by Principal, RK Sanatombi Vidyalaya Jiribam.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by S Maniton as the chief guest, L Ranjit Kumar Singh, Principal of Jiribam Higher Secondary School as the functional president and L Roshan Meetei, ZEO Jiribam and Thokchom Sanju Singh, Director Edulife India as the guests of honour.
H Rakesh Singh, coordinator, Atal Tinkering Lab, Jiribam Higher Secondary School, while speaking at the function mentioned that Atal Tinkering Lab was introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi with a view to fulfil the dreams and visions of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in bringing change and development in the country by rendering a fun platform for the young minds to explore their talents in innovating new technologies and equipment.
He went on to state that there are 5441 Atal Tinkering Lab in the country.
H Rajenkumar Singh, lecturer, Zoology Department, A Vivekananda Singh, lecturer of Physics Department spoke at the event.
ZEO Roshan Meetei said that the laboratory will provide ample of benefits to the students while urging the authorities and the students to make proper use of the lab.
Maintaining that the authorities sought permission to open Atal Tinkering lab at all the high schools in Jiribam, he stated that Jiribam Higher Secondary School was only one approved for installation.
Meanwhile, Director Edulife Thokchom Sanju elaborated the gathering on Atal Tinkering Lab and explained how to apply for the project and its benefits and impact all across the country.
He stated that this lab works best when teachers and students go hand in hand while informing that a school website will also be launched in the next month.
Ranjit Kumar Singh, Principal Jiribam Higher Secondary School stressed on the need to raise awareness about the role objective of opening the lab, which was launched under Atal Innovation Mission.
