Swavalamban Silai School teachers' training programme concludes

Bishnupur, November 23 2021:
The nine days Swavalamban Silai School teachers' training organised as part of the tailoring & sewing machine mechanical training programme of USHA International concluded on Tuesday at Conference Hall, Bishnupur Municipal Council.
The programme was sponsored by Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) under USHA International with People's Development Society, New Checkon Imphal as implementing partner.
It was attended by DC Bishnupur Ranjan Yumnam, IAS; PDS Chief Executive Officer, Th Biramangol; USHA International Ltd Guwahati, deputy general manager, Malay Paul; senior manager, Manoj Kumar Sharma and deputy manager, Sadhana Sharma as presidium members.
Speaking on the occasion, Ranjan Yumnam lauded USHA International for leading by example and carrying out various Philanthropic activities.
He also urged the participants to use the skills provided in the training programme to generate income and become self-reliant while assuring all possible assistance from the District Administration in this regard.
Malay Paul mentioned that the programme was conducted with the objective 'One women, one village, one Silai school' as part of the women empowerment initiative of USHA International.
As part of the programme, tailor machines were also handed over to the participants.
