Nagas should be realistic: NSF

Dimapur, November 23 2015: The Naga Students' Federation (NSF) "upholding the principle stands of the Naga political solution for an "honourable acceptable" solution recommended few points during its "NSF Seniors' Conclave" held in Kohima on November 21 .

One recommendation said, "We appreciate the efforts of the NSCN (IM) for signing the Framework Agreement on the August 3, 2015" .

The second recommendation stated that every responsible citizen should not shy away from the current issue, and rather consider it as a common issue for an amicable solution.

The third recommendation said that Nagas should be realistic rather than self-sophisticated/artificial.

The Naga Students' Federation since its inception has been advocating for the Naga political movement with the motto "For Unified Lim and Glory of the Nagas", "therefore, for any political settlement, like that of signing of the recent Framework Agreement, the Federation will impress for Sovereignty and Integration of all Naga inhabited area, but not economic solution., the conclave expressed.

The Federation then appreciated and also appealed the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) to continuously carry forward the dreams and aspirations of the common people in bringing all the Naga underground groups under one umbrella.

The Federation also "sincerely" appealed to all the Naga underground groups to come together for a common goal in the process of the Framework Agreement/ongoing talk to avoid mistakes as "mistake creates precedence" .
