Will bear educational costs for underprivileged students selected for medical, engineering courses: Works Minister

YAS and Works Minister Govindas Konthoujam has assured to bear the educational costs for students belonging to underprivileged families in Bishnupur AC who have been selected for medical and engineering courses.
Urging impoverished families to not be disheartened, he added that he will extend all possible help to bright students of the constituency.
He made the remark while speaking at the commencement ceremony for K Gojendra Memorial District Level 11th Unique Free Revision Course for Class X Board Examination 2025 held at Ningthoukhong Higher Secondary School today.
Organised by All Brothers Committee and sponsored by K Gojendra Foundation, the event witnessed the attendance of Ksh Ravikumar, SP Bishnupur and T Pushpanjali, Principal, Ningthoukhong Higher Secondary School among others.
Addressing the gathering, the Works Minister stressed on the importance of time management and respecting one's elders and teachers as prerequisites to becoming good students.
On the other hand, he appealed to parents to feed nutritious meals to their children to ensure their good health.
He urged students to be punctual while attending the revision course and assured that he will also pay visits to check up on them.
As per his late father Konthoujam Gojendra's wishes, the All Brothers Committee was tasked with the responsibility of imparting education to the students, said the YAS Minister.
He also expressed hope that the students will get excellent results in the upcoming HSLC exam 2025.During the revision course, 12 teachers will guide 150 students in four subjects.
