Dr Lorho to seek MHA's intervention

Ukhrul, November 22 2021:
Member of Parliament Dr Lorho S Pfoze has announced that he would take up Assam Rifles' order on "Aggressive Defensive Posture" to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) for necessary intervention at the earliest.
Earlier, the MP along with his team visited NPF party office at Ukhrul town to ascertain the situation of party workers and to strengthen NPF in the district.
Dr Lorho while speaking at Tangkhul CSO leaders meeting held at TNL Assembly Hall, Ukhrul assured the leaders of Tangkhul community that he would personally take up the matter of AR order on 'Aggressive Defensive Posture' that was widely circulated in public domain to the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Parliament session to preserve the peace in the region.
The MP also assured to safeguard the fundamental rights of the people living in border areas of Ukhrul and Kamjong districts.
He also enlightened the gathering on MADC Bill 2021 and urged them to stand together.
"Our grassroot governance has to be empowered with higher autonomy by strengthening the ADC to bring change and development in all hill districts", he asserted.
In regard to the Indo-Naga peace talk, the MP stated that the issue is at a critical stage and urged all Naga brethren to uphold the same spirit of sacrifice as the ancestors.
Dr Lorho also urged the Tangkhul leaders to make the right choice and elect the person who would stand for the people.
The meeting was attended by representatives of TNL, TSL, TKS, TNWL, TMNL and NPF party workers.
