Imphal, November 22 2010: Refuting the claim of SP Imphal East District Police, the proscribed Revolutionary People's Front (RPF) has clarified that Samjetsabam Nando alias Biranda (53) of Pangei Awang Leikai whom the SP claim to be a sympathiser of PLA and arrested from Wairi Lamkhai has no connection with RPF nor its armed wing PLA.

In fact, Nando is an innocent person and the police have picked him up from his own in the morning of November 17, chief of department of publicity of the outfit GM Changjou said in a statement.

Furthermore, refuting the claim of SP Imphal West Police, Changjou said that Shamjetsabam Ojit alias Nanao (40) s/o Sh Bidhu of Yumnam Patlou Awang Leikai and Yumnam Thoibi alias Sanathoi alias Hanuman (22) s/o late Birachandra who are claimed to be have been arrested from near Raj Polyclinic, North AOC have no connection whatsoever with RPF and its armed wing PLA nor do they work under the command of one Yaiphaba of PLA nor assign any task for collecting fund from the public.
