PNB donates medical equipment to Kamjong District Hospital

Imphal, October 22 2021:
Punjab National Bank (PNB) has donated medical equipment worth Rs 10,00,000 under corporate social responsibility (CSR) to Kamjong District Hospital on October 21.A press release issued.by PNB today stated that medical equipment consisting of ultrasound machine with colour doppler and chemical analyzer were handed over to Dr Nilakanta Singh, CMO of Kamjong District Hospital by Manish Debbarma, AGM & Circle Head, PNB, Imphal Circle Office in the presence of Songthu Stevan Aimol, Chief Manager and Y Ibochou Singh, Senior Manager, PNB.
Speaking on the occasion, Manish.Debbarma remarked that the donation was made with the intent of providing proper medical treatment to the people of Kamjong district without them having to make the long trip to Imphal.
He also mentioned that PNB has created a new Circle Office in Imphal which will be the administrative office for the State of Manipur, Mizoram and Nagaland, the statement added.
Dr Nilakanta expressed his gratitude to the PNB team for donating such essential medical equipment adding that these equipment will be very beneficial to the public in the long run.
The program was also attended by other senior officials of the district and staff of the hospital.
