86 Bn CRPF reaches out to physically challenged persons

A Civic Action Programme was organised today by the 86 Bn CRPF at K Senam, T Laijing under Kangpokpi district under the aegis of he aegis of Randeep Datta, IGP Manipur and Nagaland Sector and under the supervision/initiation of Kalyan Singha, Commandant 86 Bn CRPF.
During the programme, Kalyan Singha, Comdt-86 Bn CRPF, distributed mobility aids like wheelchairs, hearing aids , walking sticks and elbow crutch (adjustable) to physically challenged persons of adjoining village of K Senam and T Laijang with a view to facilitate the deprived personnel.

Sh Kalyan Singha while addressing the gathering had expressed that such welfare initiatives will not only ease lives and bring smiles to handicapped persons and their families but will also go a long way in strengthening the bond between the people and security forces, said a statement of 86 Bn CRPF.
He further extended immense gratitude to the villagers for their active participation in the Civic Action programme and urged local villagers to avail the facilities provided by CRPF.
He also mentioned that CRPF is going to conduct more such programmes in the interest of local villagers in the near future so that needy villagers could be benefited and a better relationship is established, it said.
He also elaborated the worthy activities recently undertaken by the 86 Bn CRPF in the stretch of NH-37 like distribution of water storage tank, study /sports materials to needy students, free medical camp, construction of public convenience facility, construction of water reservoir and passengers waiting sheds, etc at Keithelmanbi, Sehjang, K Senam, Noney area, it said.
Village chairman of K Senam village, P Kipgen, Doungel Haokip of T Laijang and the public of the surrounding areas applauded such beneficial initiative of 86 Bn CRPF and extended their immense gratitude with the hope of many more similar beneficial events in coming future, it continued.
