Many extend Id-ul-Fitr greetings

Governor Dr Syed Ahmed has extended Id-ul-Fitr greetings to all the people of the State particularly the Muslim community.
With the celebration of the festival, let us all resolve to work together for a peaceful and prosperous society, the Governor added in a statement.
Chief Minister O Ibobi has also extended warm greetings on the occasion of Id-ul-Fitr to all the people of Manipur especially the Muslim brethren.
The Chief Minister expressed hope that the festival will bring peace, prosperity and unite the people of the State.
President of Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee and Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam has also extended his greetings to the people, especially the Muslim people on the occasion of Id-ul-Fitr.
Wishing the people, the Deputy Chief Minister prayed that the day ushers in peace and tranquillity amongst the people and land.
Manipur Legislative Assembly Speaker Th Lokeshwar has also extended warm wishes on the auspicious occasion of Id-ul-Fitr to all the people of the State particularly the Muslim brethren.
Let the festival unite the people of the State irrespective of caste and creed and bring peace in the society, the Speaker said.
MLA Th Shyamkumar has also wished the people of the State especially to the Muslims on the occasion of Id-ul-Fitr.
BJP State Unit president Th Chaoba has extended Id-ul-Fitr greetings to the Muslim brethren.
Th Chaoba appealed to the State Government to consider the interest of the Muslim community and relax the curfew on the day.
In connection with the day, vice president of MPCC (I) and vice-chairman of Manipur Khadi and Village Industries Board Sagolshem Achouba has also wished the Muslim community.
Gifting presents to the Muslims of Paobitek Achouba prayed that the day promotes peace and prosperity to everybody.
The gift handing exercise was organised by the Wangoi Block Congress Committee under the stewardship of Achouba.
During the distribution of the gifts, president of Wangoi Block Congress Committee Th Thambalngou and workers of Wangoi Block Congress, said a statement.
Gifts were also presented to the community at other places of Wangoi.
On this occasion, BJP Minority Cell president Md Nazir called for mutual understanding among all the communities of the State.
Id-ul Fitr greetings were also extended by Manipur People's Party president N Sobhakiran and general secretary of party's minority cell Md Alauddin.
Manipur State Council, Communist Party of India, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Lilong, Popular Front of India, Manipur, UCM, All India Students' Federation, Manipur State Council and National Identity Protection Committee Committee (NIPCO also wished all the people of the State particularly the Muslim brethren on the auspicious occasion of Id-ul-Fitr.
