DC Kamjong inaugurates One Stop Centre

Imphal, November 16 2019: Deputy Commissioner, Kamjong District Kengoo Zuringla today inaugurated One Stop Centre, Kamjong.

The Centre is temporarily located within the complex of Community Health Centre (CHC), Kamjong.

The Deputy Commissioner stated that the purpose of OSC is to provide a shelter to women in distress, affected by violence, whether in a family, community or in public.

She further stated that women in distress can take shelter at the OSC up-to five days, wherein they would be given integrated help- legal, medical and psychological counseling, apart from free food and lodging.
