Wangoo meira paibis take out mass torch rally

Kakching, September 15 2024: Denouncing the Government's inability to bring a tangible and sustainable solution to the conflict, Wangoo Ahallup Laipham Apunba Lup (WALAL) staged a torch rally from Wangoo Lupa Marup Keithel to Wangoo Mamang Sabal yesterday night.

Meira paibis from different parts of Wangoo participated in yesterday's torch rally demanding the State and Central Government to be transparent about their internal discussions concerning the unrest in the State.

Speaking by the sideline of the demonstration, A Angousana, treasurer, WALAL, urged the concerned authorities to investigate the origin of the conflict and which individuals or groups fanned the fire of unrest as well as other pertinent questions to bring a resolution to the Manipur crisis.
