LMG extends monetary aid to ailing displaced girl

In continuation of their tireless effort to assist the needy, Like Minded Group (LMG) has handed over a sum of Rs 10,000 to help with the medical costs of 14-year old Ningthoujam Velentina.
According to a statement issued by Rakesh Naorem, publicity secretary, LMG, Manipur, the 14 year old girl is the daughter of Ningthoujam Jit who hails from Churachandpur Old Bazar and consequently fled to Churachandpur Old Bazar when the violence erupted.
As they were fleeing Velentina was hurt in a fall and is currently receiving treatment at the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, RIMS Imphal.
Upon learning that the family was facing financial difficulties, the LMG team rushed to provide monetary aid.
Meanwhile, the mother of the ailing child has expressed gratitude to LMG for helping them in their time of need.
The LMG team included secretary Ojit Sorokhaibam, treasurer Kunjeshwor Mangsatabam, publicity secretary Rakesh Naorem, assistant secretary Surendra Ningomba, executive member Jollykumar Thongam and members Surjit Ngangomcha and Boinao Maibam.
