"Revamp Naamai Zho Biodiversity Park to boost eco-tourism"

D Y Dahe, former general secretary of Koide Union has appealed to the State Government to revamp the Naamai Zho Biodiversity Park in Naamai (Koide) village of Purul Sub-division, Senapati district to boost eco-tourism in the State.
He informed that people from 6 villages of Koide area came together during the COVID pandemic of 2020 to begin the construction of Naamai Zho Biodiversity Park.
"Many people from across the State and even from Nagaland visit the park every year", said Dahe while adding that if the park is properly renovated/revamped it would help improve the economy of the villagers.
He continued that construction of the park is currently carried out by Namai Eco Tourism Society (NETS) .
He also highlighted the poor condition of the 8-km long road leading to the park.
D Y Dahe further appealed to the Government to look into the matter at the earliest to improve the eco-tourism and economy of the State.
