Imphal, June 14 2011: An executive committee meeting of the High Court Bar Association, Manipur today has decided to continue with the abstention from appearing before the Gauhati High Court until further resolution to be taken up by the Executive Committee in association with the SubCommittee members for filing a Criminal contempt/writ petition, etc over the failure of the State authorities concerned to take up necessary action over the incident ofharassment, assault and detention on false charges of one of the Association members by police.

The members of the High Court Bar Assn have not been attending to their court works since June 10 over the issue.
