Imphal, July 13 2021:
The Chairman of the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur (COHSEM) has urged all Higher Secondary Schools affiliated to the council to submit 'Performance Reports' of their students at the earliest.
During a press briefing held today at the office of COHSEM, its Chairman L Mahindra stated that most of the higher secondary schools are yet to furnish performance reports of students despite instruction to form Evaluation Committee or Assessment Committee and furnish performance report by July 15.He said only 60 out of 192 higher secondary schools/education institutes affiliated to COHSEM have furnished performance reports of their students.
As the Class XII examination conducted by the council (COHSEM) was cancelled due to Covid, result of the students is to be declared based on the reports prepared by the committees formed by the respective higher secondary schools, he said while appealing all the higher secondary schools to submit their reports without fail in time.
Stating that COHSEM is targeting to declare the result of Class XII examination by July 30, the Chairman expressed apprehension that delay in receiving reports will eventually delay result declaration which could hamper the career of the students who are preparing for entry to other institutes for further studies and other competitive examinations.
