Kangpokpi, December 12 2012:
Sadar Hills Women Union (SHWU) has condemned the Sunday's bomb blast at Koubru Leikha in the strongest term.
Talking to some mediapersons at Gampiphai today, Neinu Kipgen, General Secretary of the Union, asserted that the apparent objective of the blast at Koubru Leikha is to set back the peace progress that all concerned particularly the women have made in the area.
"It is obvious that these people do not mean well for the area and its unity and development," she said, adding that no force, however, would be able to weaken the peaceful atmosphere and understanding of the people in the area by such cowardly act.
She further said that Sadar Hills women are peace loving women and only work for peace and harmony in the area.
'So, we are strongly against any activity which disturbs and lessen the strength of peace.
The women of the area will not tolerate such bomb blast in future", she warned.
