RIMS distributes prizes for National Cleanliness Day

Imphal, November 12 2021:
Professor A Santa Singh, Director, RIMS distributed certificates and cash rewards to the prize winners of the RIMS Hospital Cleanliness Contest today.
The contest was held on October 2, 2021 to select the cleanest ward/section/washrooms of the RIMS hospital in connection with the National Cleanliness Day, said a statement issued by RIMS today.
Psychiatry Ward, PMR Ward and Post Natal Ward were declared as 1st, 2nd and 3rd Cleanest Ward respectively and awarded certificates and cash rewards.
Casualty Ward, Gynae Ward, Antenatal Ward, Septic Ward, ICU ward, Sick Care Ward and Paediatric Ward were given consolation prizes.
Medicine Ward 1/11 and Female Ortho Ward were given 1st and 2nd prizes respectively in the Cleanest Washroom category and Surgery Ward and Post Natal Ward were given third prizes jointly in the same category.
Four staff were selected as best attendant and best housekeeping staff.
Kh Lukhoi Singh, Male and Female Surgery Ward and Rebika Kabuini, Anesthesiology Department were given best male and female attendants.
Sanasam Naomacha Singh and Maimom Nilabati Devi were given best housekeeping Male and Female staff during the prize distribution program.
Prof A Santa Singh congratulated all the prize winners for working tirelessly and keeping the hospital neat and clean.
The Director also encouraged those missed out deserving team/wards to feel proud of keeping their wards neat and clean.
Prof N Sanjib Singh, Medical Superintendent, RIMS Hospital welcomed the members present and explained the purpose of organizing such a program in his keynote address.
The program was attended by HODs, faculty members, Chief Nursing officers and Nursing officials, staff and team CRED.
