ZRF refutes news report on David's appointment

Imphal, December 10 2012: Reacting to the news report on appointment of Lunngam alias David as the Secretary Information and Publicity of Zomi Re-Unification Front (ZRF), an erstwhile member of Kuki National Organisation (KNO), ZRF has clarified the news report was a false and concocted.

In a statement by its General Secretary L T Paite, ZRF said that there is no such person within the group.

"What is more appalling is about the stated 15 ZRF approved Cadres and their signatures.

The statement maintained that were held up by KNO with arms at gun-point and had been made to append their signature in favour of removing ZRF Chief P S Hangshing.

KNO's malicious desire of using ZRF for the disintegration of UPF brethren is hard to understand," Paite added.

Paite also asserted that as members of ZRF lost their faith on KNO, they left KNO.
