LMG extends financial aid to family of 7-yr old cancer patient

Imphal, June 08 2022: In continuation of their efforts to provide assistance to those in need, Like Minded Group (LMG), Manipur handed over a sum of Rs 11,000 along with essential items today to the family of Ashem Malemnganba (7) from Khekman Lairembi Leikai in Lilong AC.

The 7-year old boy, who is the youngest son of Ashem Inaobi and Ashem (O) Abe, is unfortunately a cancer patient.

According to Rakesh Naorem, publicity secretary, LMG, the family has mortgaged their property and are currently living in deplorable conditions in a makeshift shack.

On top of this, Ashem Inaobi is also a differently abled person so it is upto Ashem Abe to tend to their financial needs, he shared.

In view of these circumstances, Rakesh Naorem has appealed to the public to extend their assistance to this family in need.

It may be noted that the essential items handed over to the family was sponsored by Jollykumar Thongam, member, LMG.

Sorokhaibam Ojit, secretary, LMG, Dr Maibam Eeten, Konsam Shitaljit, Dr Inaoba Nongmaithem, IC Ashem, Naorem Romila and Oinam Kangjamba were also present during the aid extension initiative.

This also marks the 54th instance that LMG has provided aid to needy families across the State.
