13th RKCS Memorial Painting Competition held

Imphal, October 07 2024: The 13th RKCS Memorial Painting Competition was successfully conducted on Sunday with more than 350 participants.

According to a release issued by RKCS' Birth Centenary Celebration Committee, the competition was conducted in 2 categories- A for Class III to Class VI and B for Class VII to Class X .

Due to the large number of entries, the competition was held at two venues namely Ram Lal Paul Higher Secondary School for Category A and RKCS Art Gallery for Category B .

Winners of the competition in the order of merit for Category A are- Sanahen Oinam of Pitambara English School, Kangembam Joy Meitei of Wangkhei High School and Seram Jashita of Nongpok Maheikol.

Category B- Brikrama Lourembam of The Comprehensive School, Nongmaithem Korounganba of Heritage Convent and Sunaina Saikhom of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Lamphel.

Prizes will be distributed to the winners during the 100th birth anniversary celebration of RK Chandrajitsana Singh, popularly known as RKCS, scheduled to be held on October 13, 2024 at JN Manipur Dance Academy, Imphal.
