IUCB vice president set to face legal action

The Board of directors of Imphal Urban Cooperative Bank has reportedly decided to initiate legal action against the Board's vice president K Kunjakishwor Singh for the latter's allegation against the Board members as well as defying guidelines of the Bank.
Speaking to newspersons at the MG Avenue office of the Bank today, Board chairman Th Dilipkumar terming Kunjakishwor's allegation of recruitment anomalies as baseless stated that the vice president's misleading information to the public through the media is a violation of prescribed norms for approval of BoD is mandatory prior to commenting in the media.
Informing that the Board will soon register a case against Kunjakishwor, the chairman contended that recruitment exercise had adhered to prescribed formalities.
In fact, Kunjakishwor was present at the BoD meeting during which selection list of the candidates was finalised, he said.
Regretting that image of the Bank has been dented to some extent consequent to the vice president making unfounded allegations, Dilipkumar cautioned that any other bank staff found conniving with Kunjakishwor will also face legal action.
