MCFI denounces killing of DK James

Imphal, July 06 2013 : Describing it as an 'act of desperado', Maring Christian Fellowship, Imphal (MCFI) has strongly condemned the killing of DK Moshilpha James Maring of Minou village, Machi block of Chandel district on 3rd July by hacking his head from behind.

In a statement issued by its Secretary, MCFI pointed out that if one who can take one's life, then he/she should also have the power to create it.

If not, then, they should at least have the courage to come out and justify this act of cowardice and plead for pardon and forgiveness.

Drawing the attention of state government for prompt intervention in booking the culprit as well as in rendering justice to the bereaved family, MCFI has also conveyed its condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
