Moreh, June 05 2013: As a part of the celebration of Eco � Green Tree Plantation Awareness Week programme at Moreh, a drawing competition on the theme "plantation of trees" was held at Eastern Shine School, Moreh.

As a part of the awareness programme, Commander of 26 SECTOR, Brig Rajiv Mankotia also planted tree inside the School campus.

The winners of the Drawing Competitions during the awareness programme being organized by 9 Assam Rifles were distributed by the Commander of 26 Sector.

The 1st, 2nd and 3rd position holders of the lower category were Ashem Ajay Singh, K Dawna Devi and Hasham Khan whereas Cheton Banik, Ngamzil Guite, N Maniram Singh were the other winners in the higher section.

During the awareness programme, an interaction with the students of Eastern shines School and the Brigadier was held during which the commander emphasized the students to be very hard working students to reach goal/aim in life.

He advised the students to choose the right career, be faith and confidence and need to know you with a healthy body and mind.
