All Manipur Students Guardian Organisation (AMSGO) has demanded investigation into the mysterious recovery of a RIMS intern in an unconcious state inside the campus of the hospital on May 17 .

On May 17 at around 2 am, a medical student from Tripura found Gyaneshwor lying unconcious near the common toilet of interns inside RIMS campus.
After giving him first aid, he was rushed to RIMS casualty at around 2.30 am, Sumati said.
After his elder brother who stays at Nagamapal was informed about the incident, Gyaneshwor was taken to Imphal hospital for CT scan.
Gyaneshwor bore an injury mark on his head and his body was shaking although he was unconcious, Sumati said.
He was later referred to Shija hospital in the morning of May 17 .
Gyaneshwar's condition deteriorated and he went into a coma although his injury was operated upon at Shija hospital, Sumati said.
She alleged that RIMS authority has not done anything to save Gyaneshwor's life so far.
It is the responsibility of the RIMS authority to provide safety to the interns of the hospital, she said.
She also urged the police to investigate the incident.
