Art of Living brings together citizens of Lahore for peace

Art of Living brings together the citizens of Lahore to stand for peace.
This was the largest ever meditation gathering in Lahore where business people, government officials, students, housewives and citizens at large came together to take stand for peace.
The event was inspired by the founder of the Art of Living, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's vision of a violence and stress-free world, according to a statement.
Faculty of The Art of Living in Pakistan Naeem Zamindar, Tahira Babar, Zarmina Durrani and Farida Azad Iqbal led the meditation at the event which was organized by Art of Living volunteers who travelled from all over Pakistan, the statement said.
Naeem Zamindar said that this event has created a wave that will change the tide of our society, laying the foundation for a stress-free and violence free world,? a wave that will wash away misery and intolerance and bring forth joy, love and beauty into our lives.
Adding further he said, "Millions of people also participated through the web broadcast and television coverage by GEO, ARY, Samaa TV, City 42." Farheen Ahmed, from the organizing team shared, it is so inspiring to see Pakistani's take a stand and make a statement that we are taking the responsibility and being the change.
Gulnaz Sheikh, said that it was beautiful to experience such a power of meditation and she could see how it was going to bring forth a peaceful revolution, it added.
