AIR Imphal joins in celebrating 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav'

Imphal, August 26 2021: As a part of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' celebrating 75th year of India's Independence, the Regional News Unit (RNU) of All India Radio Imphal in collaboration with Department of Art and Culture, Govt of Manipur will be organising 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Quiz Program' on both Kangla and Sangai channels of All India Radio at 7.30 pm (during Manipuri evening bulletin) every Friday.

The third episode of the quiz program will be held on August 27 and willing participants are informed to send their answer through [email protected] and the first three correct answers will be declared winners of the contest, said a press release issued by Assistant Director (News) & Head of RNU, Gin Gangte.

A special program on freedom fighters/unsung heroes will also be broadcasted at 6:40 am on every Sunday till August, 2022 on both the channels of AIR Imphal and the program will reflect the stories of our freedom fighters, places, events and whatever connected to India's freedom movement.

Moreover, a five minute program titled 'Azadi ka Safar' (Ningtam Khongchat ki Warida Akashvani) is being broadcasted on AIR Imphal everyday at 10 am .
