Nitika Aribam tops among state KVs

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Lamphel student Nitika Aribam has secured the highest marks amongst all students of Kendriya Vidyalaya in the state, who appeared for the
Class X examinations conducted by CBSE, the results of
which were declared recently.
Nitika is the daughter of RIMS GI Surgery head Dr Aribam
Devdutta Sharma alias AD Sharma and Gynae Department's
Dr Pratima Devi of Brahmapur Aribam Leikai, presently
residing at Thangmeiband Khomdram Selungba Leikai.
Nitika scored 100 marks in English and Literature, 97 in
Hindi Course, 97 in Mathematics Standard, 99 in Sciences
and 98 in Social Sciences, bagging a total of 491 marks out
of 500 with a pass percentage of 98.2 per cent.
Speaking to The People's Chronicle, Nitika revealed
that she studied for 2 hours daily, which was increased
to 4 hours per day after the examination time table was
released.
She took tuition for Mathematics and Hindi.
Although
the pandemic did affect the learning atmosphere, the
physical classes increased the interaction between the
school teachers and students, while conduct of online
classes provided her with ample time to study at home.
She then said that she plans to continue studying in KV
Lamphelpat till Class XII, after which she will appear
for NEET and enter the medical profession.
