State competitive scholarship exam on July 27

Imphal, June 23 2014: The State Competitive Scholarship Examination 2013-2014 for Class V and VIII will be conducted on July 27, according to a statement issued by the Director of Education (S) .

Students who have passed class V and VIII from Government/Government aided/Recognised schools with at least 60 per cent marks for general and 50 pre cent marks for SC/ST in aggregate in their annual promotion examination in previous year are eligible for the examination.

The examination will follow the prescribed syllabus of Board of Secondary School, Manipur, for both the classes.

All the ZEOs/DIs concerned are hereby requested to collect the application forms from the examination Unit of Directorate of Education, Lamphelpat, during office hour and to distribute the same to the Headmasters/Headmistress of the Government/Government aided/Recognised schools of their jurisdiction and also to collect the form and submit along with the list of candidates' particulars in soft copy to the Director of education, Government of Manipur, on or before July 14, 2014 .
