TYSO celebrates Golden Jubilee

Senapati, December 22 2021: Tobumai Youth and Student Organization (TYSO) celebrated its Golden Jubilee with the theme "Shouldering our future" at Tobumei village community hall under Song Song block.

The celebration was attended by PHE Minister L Dikho and ANSAM president, Wanglar Monsang as presidium members.

Speaking on the occasion, Losii Dikho encouraged the youths to be self conscious, open minded towards the rapid changes of the world and focus on becoming self-reliant by taking up challenges to create employment opportunities for the community instead of just waiting for Government jobs.

"It is high time to step up and work towards overall development in the ways of righteousness and honesty", he asserted.

Emphasizing the importance of prayers and connection with God, the Minister urged the people to support each other in becoming successful.

Wanglar Thiirtung Monsang expressed his joy on the Jubilee celebration and said, "It is not enough to celebrate the 50 years, but to take up the challenge and take one step ahead for our future".

During the event, L Dikho unveiled the Golden Jubilee monolith, hoisted the Jubilee flag and released the Jubilee souvenirs while Tobumai Women presented folk tunes.

The Golden Jubilee theme exposition was delivered by Athili Kape, Asst Professor DBC Maram while TYSO president Jacob gave the welcome address.

Mao students, SDSA, Makhrepadei Union leaders and village leaders also attended the event.
