Imphal, November 22 2010: A book entitled 'The Origin of the Meiteis of Manipur and Meiteilon is not Tibeto-Burman Language' written by london-based Manipuri native Dr Irengbam Mohendro was released by information and Public Relations Minister TN Haokip at Classic Hotel today.

The book release programme was hosted by Irengbam Ragini disabled Foundation and was participated by family members of Dr Mohendro, who arrived for the specific event some days back.

Others who attended the event included physician Padmashree Laishram Nabakishore, film personality Makhonmani Mangsaba, veteran journalist K Madhumangol, Prof Th Ratankumar of Manipur University and Dr L Raju.

The Irengbam family, who had already attended an interaction session with members of Manipur Sahitya Sabha will be taking part in various events before their departure.
