Seminar / Career Counseling Programme held

The Zeliangrong Students' Union, Delhi (ZSUD) in collaboration with Vidyapeeth IAS and SPUNER successfully organised a Seminar cum Career Counseling Programme at Police Training School, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi on July 20, 2024 .
With the theme "Informed Career and Educational Decision-Making Skills", the event kicked off with a prayer by Rev N Majithiubou, associate pastor, Liangmai Fellowship Delhi and a welcome address from Akubou Pamai, president ZSUD.
According to a release issued by ZSUD, the vibrant Sirailiu Nring, general secretary and Ruukuonua Liegisie, PRS moderated the first & second session.
Esteemed resource persons from various fields shared their expertise and experiences.

"Career Opportunities beyond the Normal Jobs" by Armstrong Pame, Director, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (Film), GOI;
"Career Prospects in UPSC and Other Government Exams" by Shubham Aggarwal, Director, Vidyapeeth IAS Academy and Columnist at Times of India;
"Opportunities in Tech, Media, and Policy Research" by John Khiangte, Executive Director, Global Public Policy, India, Disney-Star India;
"Career Opportunities in the Corporate Sector" by Kiran Sonowal, Head of Customer Support, Regulation & Compliance at S&P Global;
"How to Enter into Academic Career" by Haineube Newme, PhD Scholar, JNU, New Delhi;
and "North-East police helpline: Awareness and how police can help people in distress" by Lungphubou Abonmai, Sub-Inspector, Special Police Unit for North-East Region.
The event was facilitated by additional resource persons, Suantiliu Sylvia Panmei, Content Writer at Agricultural & Processed Food Products Export Development Authority, Aileena Hazarika, Unreal Engine Generalist, MediaMonks x Staud Studio, Germany and Sanju Surendran, Motion Designer, Winzo Games shared their experiences and gave insights on unconventional fields.
The event was attended by more than 300 students and professionals.
To add more colour to the event, budding Zeliangrong artists Kerin Pame and Wintamsinbou Chawang entertained the audience with a startling performance.
The event concluded with words of gratitude from Kairidinbo Marenmai, vice president and a prayer by Albert N Hau, Associate Pastor, Zeme Church Delhi.
