Many condemn blast at NPF office

Ukhrul, May 21 2015 : Vehemently condemning the blast at NPF office located at Kamjong Block headquarters last night, the Tangkhul and Kuki Welfare Association (TKWA) has imposed a total shut down at Kamjong Block headquarters from 10 am to 6 pm today besides convening a public meeting at Kamjong football ground.

At the same time, Kamjong Women Association staged a sit-in protest today against the blast.

Addressing the public meeting, president of TKWA, M Chithung expressed strong disappointment that the SDO and his subordinate staff have disappeared in times of need.

Candidates for both Kamjong and Grihang DCCs also attended the public meeting.

Strongly condemning the act, they appealed to all concerned to refrain from such acts in future.

Around one thousand people gathered at the public meeting.

Meanwhile, NPF State president N Awangbou who personally visited the place strongly condemned the incident.

Tangkhul Naga Long has also condemned the bomb attack.
