Imphal, November 20 2011: In connection with the Manipur Sangai Festival commencing tomorrow at Hapta Kangjeibung traffic regulation would remain in force for the event, informed a statement issued by the SP (Imphal East) .

Vehicles carrying VIPs and general public will be allowed to enter from Palace Gate or Andro parking sides while exit of two-wheelers and four-wheelers will be allowed through Haokip Veng/Mahabali and Macha Leima/Heirikhagok Makhong respectively.

No vehicle or pedestrian would be allowed access to the festival venue from the above mentioned exit points, said the SP's statement adding that all the vehicles should park only a designated parking area.

Meanwhile, the motorcycle rally organised as a promotional campaign of the festival reached Moreh town today, reports our Correspondent.

The rallyists conducted poster campaigns and street corner meetings at the border town during its last leg of promotional activities in Chandel district.

The rallyists will leave Moreh for Hapta Kangjeibung in Imphal, the venue of Manipur Sangai Festival 2011 tomorrow.
