24 hr Thoubal bandh called today

Thoubal, December 01 2015: The JAC formed in connection with the killing of one Shagolsem Nelton of Langathel, Thoubal district� whose body was found along Ithei Maru at Pallen on Dec 12� has announced a 24 hour Thoubal district bandh from 6 am of tomorrow (Dec 16) .

The JAC was constituted during a public meeting held yesterday at the residence of the deceased at Langathel.

Sh Damudor, N Tampha Leima and Sh Dhanajit Mangang have been elected as the president, secretary and convener respectively of the JAC.

Among others, the meeting decided to impose Thoubal district bandh tomorrow.

As per yesterday's resolution, a sit-in was staged today at Khongjom bazar today against the killing.
