SAM celebrates higher secondary recognition

Kangpokpi, May 15 2022: One of the most influential educational institutions in Kangpokpi district, TL Shalom Academy, Motbung has been granted the status of Higher Secondary School by the Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur.

A celebratory programme to welcome the recognition was held under the theme, "You Shall Know the Truth and the Truth Shall Make You Free" at the school on Saturday.

Situated at Bethlehem Veng, Motbung Sadar Hills, the school achieved the Higher Secondary status after 38 years of functioning as one of the most influential educational institution in Kangpokpi district and became the first & only private higher Secondary school in the Motbung area.

With a desire to have a haven, a place of refuge, and a place of peace for children, Shalom Academy was established at Motbung, a major center in the area for trade and education.

It is the only school in Motbung with well equipped Science and Computer Laboratory.

The school had achieved various awards at the district and state levels in various competitions.

It has also been awarded the Best Performing School Award thrice by Motbung Youth Club.

The event celebrated with full fervor was marked by children showcasing their talent in the form of choreography, group songs and cultural dance.
