Imphal, May 12 2017: Health and Family Welfare Minister L Jayantakumar Singh and Hiyanglam AC MLA Dr Radheshyam Yumnam along with other officials inspected the Primary Health Sub Centre located under Hiyanglam AC today. Speaking to media persons, Dr Radheshyam stated that the only Primary Health Centre in Hiyanglam will be repaired and added that the Primary Health Sub Centre in Lamjao which lacks proper infrastructure and building will be looked into immediately.

All necessary action will be taken to improve the condition of Primary Health Sub Centre in various areas of the AC namely Langmeidong, Yangdong Elangkhan-pokpi, Waikhong, Arong Nongmaikhong, he added. Jayantakumar stated that these health centres lack proper facilities and infrastructure and the State Government will try to revamp them at the earliest.
