Moirang AC MLA inspects developmental works

Moirang Assembly Constituency MLA, P Sharatchandra has asserted that Morang locals would witness many developments in term of infrastructures, education and others before the end of April 2020.The statement was made by the MLA while inspecting developmental works carrying out in the constituency, yesterday.
He also claimed that the current Government has fulfilled the aspiration of the public by initiating many developmental projects in the State which the former Government could not do in 15 years.
If there is no hindrance due to bandh or bad weather condition, the works will be finished on or before this April, the MLA pointed out.
Saying that Moirang is frequently visited by tourists both from the State and outside, P Sharatchandra lamented that a proposal for Rs 6 crore (aprrox) has also been sent to renovate the road which passes through Moirang Keithel under Central road fund for the convenience of the visitors as well as the locals.
The MLA also said that funding of Rs 21crore has been sanctioned for road widening project of the road stretch from Moirang Lamkhai to Sendra under NISIT.
Asserting that the current BJP led coalition Government is working at its best to reduce poverty to ensure sustainable growth, he added that over 500 new underprivileged households have also been covered by National Food Security Act to provide them with proper nourishment.
The drive which began from Moirang Municipal Council also inspected solar lamps which were installed by collaborating with MANIREDA, newly constructing schools under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, renovation works at different roads under PMGSY, market shed and sites to implement new projects among others.
