Workshop cum production programme concludes

Imphal, December 07 2014: A one month long workshop cum production programme on 'Traditional Folk Arts of Manipur', organised by Harimati Dance and Music Centre, Kongpal under the aegis of State Arts and Culture Department, Manipur concluded today with a small closing ceremony held at Lamyanba Shanglen, Konung Lampak.

The concluding event was graced by retired assistant director, All India Radio B Jayanta Kumar Sharma and Music centre president, Dr Ksetri Kala as functional chief guest and president respectively.

The workshop was particularly based on the study of traditional musical instrument Pena and the music form Khubak Eshei.

Participants in the month long workshop cum production programme, showcased Pena and Khubak Eshei during the concluding event which was held today.
