Teachers, social workers, scientists honoured on International teachers' Day

Imphal, October 05 2020: Celebrating the International Teachers Day, 2020, Adarsh Shanskarshala an NGO based at Mathura awarded Adarsh Diksha Ratna 2020 to Teachers, social workers, scientists, artists from 27 States of India at Mathura.

Due to Corona Pandemic, this year's function was organized online.

It was telecast live on YouTube, Facebook and RNI TV .

121 persons from various fields were awarded.

And From Manipur Gautam Nongmaithem, working as Primary Teacher at Eastern Ideal High School, Akampat Zone 2, Education s Manipur was selected for the award.

In the meantime Imphal Public Higher secondary school in a press release stated that the Global Teacher award 2020 conferred by MVLA Maharashtra Mumbai in connection with World Teachers' Day, 2020 with the theme of "Empowerment of Teachers" Ashem Kennedy Singh Son of Late A lbomcha Singh and Late A Hemabati Devi of Kyamgei Maning Lcikai, Imphal East District, Keirao A/C .

The Award has been conferred to Kennedy for his Dedicated Works in the field of Education as the Founder Principal of IPS, Canchipur.

The press release further stated that it is also said that Ashem Kennedy has received state Awards, Indian School Award, National Icon Award and International Education Award for Best Principal of the Year.

It may be mentioned that Sorokhaibam Rajen along with other four persons were sworn in as Ministers on 24th September, 2020 at Raj Bhavan.

He holds the portfolio of Education, Fisheries and CADA.
