Kangpokpi, September 05 2014 : The All tribal Students' Union Manipur today urged the Medical Directorate to postpone the walk-in interview called by the department for more than 70 various posts.

Emboi Serto, President of ATSUM said that Medical Directorate published a notification for a walk in interview for various posts in the department including peon and driver in Poknapham daily today.

He further added that according to the notification the walk in interview will commence from September 9 .

He said that due to the prevailing bandh and agitation situation in the hill district of the state, ATSUM appealed the Medical Directorate to postpone their schedule walk in interview for the welfare of the tribal people.

Meanwhile, ATSUM also condemned the Medical Directorate for publishing the notification only in Poknapham which is published in Bengali Scripts which the tribal people are not familiar with and urged publication of the same in English.
