Imphal, October 04 2014 : Governor Dr KK Paul and Chief Minister O Ibobi have extended warm wishes to the people of the State particularly Muslim brethren on the auspicious occasion of Id-Ul-Zuha.

In a message, Governor Dr KK Paul wished the festival promote tolerance, harmony and goodwill amongst the people of the State.

Chief Minister O Ibobi, while pointing out that Id-Ul-Zuha reminds the supreme sacrifice made by Prophet Ibrahim for the sake of mankind and reaffirms faith in the allegiance of man to God, wished the festival unite all in a spirit of common brotherhood to serve the cause of humanity for a more peaceful and prosperous Manipur.

Communist Party of India also extended warm wishes to the people of the State on Id-ul-zuha.
