Aken to be conferred best film journalist award

Imphal, April 04 2013: The Best Film Journalist Award for the year 2013, which is being given by Film Forum Manipur since 2010, is to be conferred to Aken Sijagurumayum.

The award would be presented to Aken Sijagurumayum on the occasion of foundation day celebration of Film Forum Manipur which falls on April 9 .

According to Film Forum Manipur, Aken Sijagurumayum has been selected for the award in due consideration of his contribution towards reporting in the field of Manipuri films.

The award caries a cash prize of Rs 10,000, a shawl and a citation.

The award has been donated by Dr Th Suresh in memory of his late father Th Ningthemjao and mother Th Ibecha.

Meanwhile, Nongin Kummei 2013, which is to be organized jointly by Film Forum Manipur and Manipur Film Development Corporation, would be held from April 6 to 7 .
